Opinions are like, well, you know, everyone has one. I am no different. You don't have to agree with me. I'm OK with that.

One ride, then another ...

A quick trip to a local bank wasn't so quick. But the rides were! As I waited to speak to someone I was approached by Greg. He is a young man, easy to talk to, and friendly. He knew way more about me that I knew of him, but that's pretty much due to our Tesla. As we chatted he told me about his son who attends Auburn University (sorry ROLL TIDE!) and how they went to find the Tesla Superchargers just to see what they were like. He knew we had purchased one as it was written up in the local paper. He told me he and his son even drove past our house to see our chargers and maybe get a glimpse of the car! Hilarious! Well, since the person for whom I was waiting hadn't appeared yet, I offered him a ride! The ear to ear grin said it all and we left.

I took him out of town on a country road and answered all his question. The smile never left his face. When we were out of town a good bit, I turned around and positioned the car for the 0 - 60 in 4.2 seconds.

Before I stepped on it, I asked, "Ready?"

"Oh, yeah!"

I couldn't believe the giggle I heard. I slowed down a bit and glanced his way. His face was frozen in the same smile, only bigger! We returned to the bank and pulled into a parking spot. He had never seen a frunk so I showed him. He was amazed - and honestly, I still feel amazed every time I drive it. We were getting ready to go back into the bank when another gentleman approached the car.

"It's the Tesla! She's beautiful! Gorgeous! I see it all over town and now it's right in front of me!! WOW!"

I introduced myself and offered him a ride. He didn't hesitate, even for a split second. He was in his seat before I was. And, he was ready to go! We chatted for a bit. He told me about his vintage Jag and how much he loved cars ... but 'this' car is something else, he told me! Again, the 0 - 60 in 4.2 brought a huge smile to his face! He thanked me repeatedly for making his day.

When we returned to the bank, he went from office to office telling everyone who would listen about his Tesla experience!

I asked who he was ... yeah, he is the bank's president. Too funny.
Thanks for visiting. I welcome comments, thoughts, and yes, even opinions.
